Overview & Reviews
The Lexus RX 350 is a vehicle that's comfortable in its own metal. And why wouldn't it be? This midsize luxury crossover SUV has long been a consumer favorite thanks to its plush ride, spacious interior, strong reliability record and appealing high-tech features. While the RX 350 doesn't promise much in the way of driving passion, its combination of comfort and convenience is hard to top in a five-passenger luxury crossover. It also commands lofty resale values due to that sterling Lexus reputation.
Offering either front- or all-wheel drive, the RX 350 dates back to 2007, when it was introduced as a continuation of the RX 330. It has received significant upgrades in cabin technology over the years, but a generous standard features list and excellent build quality are a given with any Lexus RX 350. Unless you need the versatility of a third-row seat, this Lexus is likely to be a compelling proposition.

Car is okay - 2015 Lexus RX 350
By CLH - September 26 - 4:26 pmI had an Audi Q5 which was tight, peppy, and had the driving experience of a German engineered car. The Lexus is a completely different driving experience. Im not sure yet if I like it or not. I did love the Audi!

Not easy to drive - 2017 Lexus RX 350
By Mike - April 27 - 9:00 pmI had a Lexus RX350 which was much more comfortable and easier to handle on the road. The 2017 I have is cumbersome and not fun to drive like my ex 2010 rx350. I wish I had never bought the 2017. It is big and boxy and difficult to park.

You have to be kidding - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By Rpac - March 21 - 11:06 pmI purchased a 2010 RX350 in Dec 09. Car built same month. I noticed that in making a change with the engine manifold etc the car warms up faster than earlier model. But, driving into a driveway like into a gas station the car rocks like a canoe on the ocean. The improved suspension is a joke. I have 19 inch wheels; I dont know what for as I dont have the sports edition. The car does not have the quiet smooth ride as mentioned in reviews. All in all I am disappointed in the car. You slam the drivers door and it sounds like a car full of tin cans. I would expect this from an American car of years ago but not a new Lexus. The car sounds cheap, rides cheap, and is just an overpriced mess.

Steer clear of Navigation system - 2017 Lexus RX 350
By Craig Hardt - March 12 - 1:38 pmThe 12.3 inch navigation system is a joke. The voice system rarely understands me and I enunciate clearly. I bought a new 2017 In June 2017 and the Navigation system does not show streets that I know have been there for over 4 years. It is terribly out of date. There routes to almost anywhere are never the best routes. It is a $3200 MSRP piece of junk. The rest of the vehicle is fine.

Throaty noise in low gear - 2017 Lexus RX 350
By Baker - October 16 - 12:44 amEvidently Lexus has a problem with the muffler system in many of the 2017 RX 350s. Makes a growling sound and vibrates in lowest gear when on an incline. Technician sd Lexus is working on a fix! The technician at dealership said the muffler noise problem seems to be more prevalent in the vehicles coming from Canada rather than the ones from Japan. Recommendation: Drive the one you are going to buy and put it on a fairly steep incline while in lowest gear. The noise from the muffler is a low roar with vibration felt in the steering wheel. Smooths out as you pick up speed. Occurs mostly at 1500-1800 rpm. I find it irritating, some may not!

Misleading Fuel Economy - 2015 Lexus RX 350
By Mariah Bendr - May 5 - 8:52 amI had a 2006 RX 350 for 10 years and absolutely loved it. I wanted to purchase the Volvo SUV but my husband convinced me to stick with Lexus since we had such a great experience previously. Unfortunately this 2015 RX350 is no that great. The navigation is very annoying and takes so long to enter an address, I prefer to use the map app on my iphone so can can just say the address and off I go. I really miss my armrest... I know its something most people dont care about but I like to have an armrest where it meets my elbow. My biggest complaint is the gas economy. Its supposed to range from a minumum of 18 MPG local. It only gets 14 MPG on average!!! which is worse than the V8 Ford Explorer Limited that I had from the 90s. This is a huge gas guzzler - thank goodness the gas prices have gone down. On a positive note, I love the seats, they are very comfortable with beautiful color option of "saddle"... or brown. Its very roomy and looks great. The service from Lexus is also always top notch.

Unintended Acceleration Warning - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By r2theman - December 29 - 1:41 pmWe are or have been very loyal Toyota and Lexus owners for many years. Our 2010 RX 350 was an upgrade from the 2006 IS 350. The Vehicle is a great ride except for the unintended acceleration. It came very close to tragedy 2 weeks ago on an interstate. I have heard about the Toyota problem but didnt want to believe that it would happened to our RX. There is less than 20k on the vehicle. It started acting up a few months ago, it would accelerate over set cruise speed by 10 miles hr but wasnt life threatening, braking stop the acceleration. This happen twice with me & twice with my wife until the brake didnt stop the problem acceleration. She couldnt get it stop by jabbing the brakes hard,

Rough riding RX 350 - 2010 Lexus RX 350
By HUGH CRISSMAN - August 17 - 1:36 pmMy leased R.X. 350 2 W.D. rides like a cement truck! I have been told to carry bags of rocks in the back to improve the ride. I have a lemon and Lexus people say it is not broken and rides as it was designed. Do yourself a favor and never own this Lexus model We hate to drive this car, never again!

Last Lexus: a Lemon? - 2008 Lexus RX 350
By Last Lexus - August 11 - 5:10 pmRather than detail all my Lexus woes, which the dealership has tried and sometimes succeeded in fixing, I can just say that this 2008 RX350 is the noisiest car I have had. There is a persistent rattle in the rear passenger window that looks like it is caused by a faulty window assembly. The bumper rattles when turning. The car has been through a bit -- as a car in NYC is wont to be -- but the quality problems have been very disappointing for a car with a stellar reputation.
